Thispositionrequires5 yearsofprivatesectorcontract/subcontractexperience,withaminimumof2yearsofprofessionalexperienceinengineering/constructionsubcontractingactivitiesfortheoilandgasindustry.ReportingtotheDirectorofProjectSourcing,thisrolewillmanageallphasesoftheprojectsubcontractsdevelopmentprocess,includingpreparationofsubcontractsplan,biddersprequalification,subcontractsformation,riskassessment,execution,changemanagement,reportingandformalcloseout.Thisrolewillalsofocusonestablishinggoodcontractualrelationshipswithsubcontractors,facilitatingasafeclosureofthesubcontractsandavoidinganylitigation/claims,whilepreservingAirLiquideinterestsandpriorities.
JobResponsibilities:
*WorkingaspartoftheProjectteamindevelopingandformingsubcontracts.
*Managingallphasesconstructionsubcontracts,,includingpre-qualification,formation,execution,constructionschedule,andclose-out.
*Creatingandmaintainingprojectsubcontractplans.
*Sourcingpotentialsubcontractorsandperformingbidder'squalification,usingAirLiquide'sapprovedsystemssuchasAvettaandincollaborationwithHSEandQA/QCteams.
*Ensuringpropertechnicalinputsneededfortheawardofsubcontractsaretimelyreceivedfromproposalsandprojecttechnicalteams,avoidingtotheextentpossibleanypost-awardchanges.
*CreatingandissuingRFQs,addingvaluetothescopeofwork,technicaldocuments,andprojectschedule.
*SolicitingandensuringproperreviewofRFQpackagedocumentsforcompletenesspriortoissue.
*Receivingandanalyzingproposals,negotiatingthetermsofthesubcontractswiththesupportoftheprojectandlegalteams.
*Takingtheleadonallbidclarificationsandnegotiations,followingAirLiquideguidelinesandprocedures.
*ObtainingNDAsandMHHagreementsfrombidders/subcontractors,asrequired.
*Conductingsubcontractspre-awardandprojectkick-offmeetings.
*Preparing,withthecollaborationoftheprojectteam,theSubcontractBidAssessment&Recommendationforaward(SBAR)tobereviewedandapprovedbymanagement.
*Subcontractexecution/formalization,followingAirLiquideDOE,GuidelinesandProcedures.
*Ensuringallrequiredsubcontractorinsuranceisinplacepriortotheperformanceofanywork
*Handlingallformalcommunicationswithsubcontractorsandmaintainingdetailedcommunicationlogs.
*AttendingSitemeetings,asrequired.
*Workingcloselywiththeprojectteamtomaintaintheprojectscheduleandbudget.
*Reviewingsubcontractorsreportsandissuingweekly/monthlyreportstotheprojectteam.
*OverallChangeOrdermanagement.
*Performingsubcontractsriskassessment.
*Monitoringandreviewinginvoicesfromsubcontractors.
*ObtainingLienreleasesandcompletioncertificatesfromsubcontractors.
*ContributingtoapositiveworkenvironmentthatfostersthesuccessofahighperformingProjectSubcontractsteam.
*Resolvingissuesrelatedtosubcontractprocesses,escalatingunresolvedissuestotheDirectorofContracts.
*WorkingcloselywiththeProjectManager/ProjectDirectorandDirectorofContractstoavoidandhandlesubcontractorsclaims.
*Providingsupporttothelegalteamincaseofanylitigation/claimfromsubcontractors.
*Preparingthesubcontractorcloseoutevaluationform.
*Ensuringtimelycloseoutofsubcontractfiles.
*Assistingsubcontractteamincriticalandexpeditedcontractrequirements,asnecessary.
*Stewardcontractrelationships.
*Respondtosubcontractorandprojectinquiries.
*Allactivitiesrelatedtopropersubcontractadministration.
