Description
Directs and coordinates the Hose Doctor activities and daily operations within their assigned territories. Responsible for coordination, delegation, and follow-up of key tasks that are performed by Hose Doctors.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise all Hose Doctor employees throughout our AHP markets. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works with all Hose Doctors on key Hose Doctor program initiatives monthly. Reports back to the VP of Operations on Hose Doctor program progress.
- Evaluates and measures key productivity indicators for customer service.
- Issues oral and written instructions.
- Works closely with Outside Sales to help coordinate workflow between outside sales corporate, branch inside sales, and technical inside sales.
- Host monthly staffing meetings to keep employees abreast of company issues.
- Works closely with the expediter and helps/supports when necessary.
- Determines staff hours; handles vacation requests, proper daily staffing, and workload distribution.
- Investigates and addresses customer complaints for full resolution.
- Handles the needs of outside sales force, as needed.
- Follows company ISO policies and procedures.
Requirements
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical Aptitude a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Related experience and/or training are strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
