Description
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Respond in a timely manner to incoming tasks (including requests for quotes, order entry, application assistance, product selection, or resolving other customer issues) to both our customers and outside sales representatives of AHP.
- Lead the LMH Inside Sales team by initiating collaboration and synergy among the LMH team.
- Ensuring the LMH Inside Sales team workload is equitable, which will improve the overall efficiencies of the team.
- Uses P21 system to retrieve customer information, stock status information, the status of purchase orders, and make changes on customer purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information.
- Checks with accounting department concerning credit status of customer when orders are entered into P21 System.
- Contacts vendors to locate requested items in order to meet customer's delivery requirements. Relay this information to customer.
Requirements
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical Aptitude a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Related experience and/or training are strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
