Air Handlers Heating & Cooling has been serving the community for over 30 years. We are native to the Norfolk, Portsmouth, VA Beach, and Chesapeake areas and will continue to be a family-run business. We've gained a reputation for providing heating & air conditioning service with integrity and professionalism. We have expanded our team and are seeking an entry level installer to join our team.

Primary Job Function: To install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards. Provide the customer with a high-quality experience in a timely manner. Follow the direction of a Lead Installer and maintain a can-do, positive attitude.

Pay Scale: $16.00 - up per hour. Depends on experience

Work Hours: 8:00 am 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, overtime as required
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- (Experience working with common hand and power tools required)1 year of HVAC or construction experience or schooling desired, but not required
- Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the service of HVAC equipment
- Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes
- Work from 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder
- Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given
- Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service skills
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 75 lb., access crawlspaces and attics, use ladders
