Shift hours: 03:00 am - 09:00 am Tues / Wed off

- Operate a forklift, tug and pallet jack
- Promptly sort outbound mail tendered by USPS by destination and flight number
- Load sorted mail onto carts by flight number and destination
- Segregate mail for smooth loading
- Establish correct weight for mail
- Complete paper manifest for all mail per destination
- Dump and scan inbound mail
- Complete any necessary postal logs as applicable within prescribed time frames
- Keep proper statistics of all mail handled
- Ensure mail is secure at all times
- Push/pull mail carts in excess of 70 pounds
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security background checks
- Per USPS guideline, must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must possess a valid Drivers License
- Must be able to obtain valid airport I.D. badge.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to clearly understand and communicate in English when performing essential job functions
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, and holidays.
