As a Passenger Service Agent with Air France/KLM, you’ll be on the front lines of delivering world-class service to our customers. From check-in to boarding, you'll ensure a smooth and welcoming airport experience with professionalism and care. Main responsibilities include:

1. Customer Service Excellence:

  • Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring that all passengers receive a positive and memorable experience during their travels on Air France and KLM
  • Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all customer interactions, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to exceed customer expectations, proactively addressing their needs and providing personalized assistance.
  • Serve first class La Premiere customers from their check in experience to boarding, ensuring that the standards for first class are maintained and that passengers have the experience they expect from the airline.

2. Operational Coordination:

  • Communicate effectively with other airport and airline staff to ensure efficient check-in processes and seamless coordination.
  • Coordinate with gate agents, cabin crew, and ground staff to facilitate smooth boarding and arrival procedures.
  • Stay updated on flight statuses, gate changes, and other operational updates, and relay relevant information to passengers accurately and in a timely manner.

3. Technical Proficiency:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in using computerized reservation systems to handle ticketing, booking modifications, and seat assignments.
  • Ability to navigate airline-specific software and online platforms for managing passenger information, ticketing, baggage systems etc.

4. Safety and Security Procedures:

  • Ensure compliance with security and safety procedures and regulations
  • Assisting passengers with security-related inquiries and maintaining a safe environment.

5. Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management to contribute to the smooth operation of the airport and provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age and are legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Pass an extensive post offer pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug test including and other government issued clearances
  • This position entails frequent movement and standing for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and maneuver baggage weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Afternoon/evening shift work is required, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must successfully pass initial training with a cumulative score of 80% or better and be able to fulfill all regular airport duties after training

Job Specifics:

  • Regularly rotating shifts within hours of operation
  • Starting $21.25/hour
  • Fulltime - Working 5 days a week with 2 consecutive days off
  • Parking paid by Air France or monthly AirTrain ticket reimbursed
  • Comprehensive training will be provided
