The incumbent will serve as a senior Contracting Officer, technical expert, and acquisition advisor on large, high-priority programs within the Information and Spectrum Warfare or Space Warfare contracting divisions.

- Serves as a senior unlimited warranted Contracting Officer with mastery and expert knowledge of procurement regulations, contracting principles, and latest procedures and techniques.
- Provides technical expertise on contracting methods and procedures, which are considered authoritative in nature.
- Plans, develops, establishes, and implements contractual strategy for the acquisition program.
- Leads coordination with senior level team members, ensuring final requirement is fully reflective of mission and organizational goals.
- Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship.
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience at the DO-02, NH-03, or GS-13 equivalent level positions. Specialized experience must include one or more of the following areas: Soliciting, evaluating, negotiating, and awarding contracts; Analyzing and evaluating cost/price proposals and accounting systems; Planning, establishing, or reviewing contracts, programs, policies, or procedures; Developing acquisition strategies and directing or managing procurements.
- Applicants must possess or be eligible for a Secret security clearance.
- This position requires APDP certification of Contracting, Foundational Level.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or related field from an accredited academic institution.
- Employee is required to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.
- Completion of appropriate Professional Military Education (PME).
