The Air Force Materiel Command Integrated Development Office (AFMC IDO) seeks to hire a senior-level DR-03/DR-04, Mission Engineering Portfolio Analyst (Engineer) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. This position is located within AFRL, Technology Transition Office (RR), Enterprise Integration Division (RRA) which is part of the AFMC IDO.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the mission engineering analytical activities underpinning acquisition solutions within the IDO portfolios: Battlespace Awareness, Force Application, Force Protection, Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4)/Cyber, Force Development & Design, and Logistics.
- Involves the creation of strategic plans and timelines for development, integration, evaluation, and deployment of mature technology solutions to the Air Force enterprise to increase readiness and decrease costs.
- Leading engineering teams and will be hands-on in the creation of engineering processes and procedures in the IDO.
- Integrate across programs within their mission engineering portfolios as well as collaboration across mission engineering teams, early system's acquisition, and architecture integration teams as well as the Science and Technology community.

Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience related to the position duties at next lower grade (DR-02/GS-13 for DR-03; or DR-03/GS-14 for DR-04), or equivalent experience in other pay systems.
- Applicants must be able to meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards of the occupational series assigned when the position is filled.
