Senior Commercial HVAC Technician -Up to 3k Sign-on Bonus

Commercial HVAC Service Technician-Level 3 - $30-$45/hour

Air Force One is looking for an experienced Commercial Service Technician with 3 years of experience to cover the SW Ohio region. Our office is located in Middletown, OH. The HVAC Service Technician performs maintenance and service repairs on refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship and/or formal training in HVAC preferred
• 3 years of commercial HVAC experience
• Universal EPA Certification required
• OSHA certification
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Clean background check
  
  

Required Responsibilities

• Provide maximum customer service and professional communication to all associates and customers.
• Effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Working knowledge of temperature/pressure chart.
• Read thermometers and gauges, records readings.
• Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital signals.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on the following types of HVAC systems:

• Exhaust Fans
• Circulating Pumps
• Unit Heaters
• VAV Boxes
• Split Systems 1 thru 5 Ton 1 PH
• Package Units 1 thru 5 Ton 1 PH
• Systems with scroll and sealed hermetic compressors
• Single phase & three phase motors
• Heating systems with atmospheric burners and induced draft motors
• All residential type furnaces
• Medium temperature refrigeration systems
• Cooling towers
• Direct and indirect fired makeup air units
• Built -up Air Handlers
• Variable frequency drives
• Ductless split systems
  
  

Preferred Responsibilities

Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on the following types of HVAC systems:

• Low Temperature Refrigeration Systems
• Boiler Systems-Low Pressure Hydronic & Steam
• Boiler Systems with Power Burners
• Air Cooled Chiller
• Rotary-Screw Compressors
• Pneumatics Air Compressors and Systems
