The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full time Inventory Management Specialist, (GG-2010-12), working at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) – Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), San Antonio, Texas
Salary ($90,823 - $118,072) based on experience
Leave accrual for military service may be able
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.
Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.

Qualifications/Requirements
In this position you will serve as a senior inventory management specialist, as the technical expert and advisor for the wholesale logistics item management of assigned groups of cryptologic items in Air and Ground COMSEC, Crypto Branch.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain & maintain a “Top Secret/SCI” Security clearance
The incumbent may be required to undergo counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position
At a minimum, all groups in this category require either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience for entry.

- Knowledge of applicable customer service standards; knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and methods of assigned specializations and functions.
- Knowledge of structure, contents, codes, internal an external interfaces, update procedures and uses of automated supply systems and databases; knowledge of sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance or advice to resolve supply problems.
- Knowledge of policies, methods, and procedures for type classification of material/approval for service use; knowledge of policies and procedures for requisitioning and issuing equipment and supplies.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop timely and economical solutions; to plan and organize work; to maintain good working relations; to originate new ideas, projects, studies, and methodologies.
- Ability to review, analyze and evaluate supply management programs and to interpret specialized documentation and descriptions pertaining to equipment.
- Ability to stratify resources against approved programs; to plan, present, and execute budgets; to analyze budget impacts on programs; and to forecast long-term funding requirements.
- Ability to develop, prepare, coordinate, staff, and implement supply management policies, procedures, programs, and directives.
- Ability to use office automation tools and techniques to design and generate reports, briefing materials, and/or comparable documents.
