As an Acquisition Security Specialist, you will be the on-site security cornerstone for the DAF365 program. Operating as a Geographically Separated Unit (GSU) reporting to leadership at Hanscom AFB, this is a unique opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment. You will serve as the primary security leader responsible for integrating all security disciplines—industrial, information, physical, personnel and operational security—into the acquisition lifecycle. We are seeking a proactive professional who can manage the day-to-day security mission independently, identify and mitigate risks, and clearly communicate the security landscape to program leadership across multiple locations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Security Clearance: An active Secret clearance is the minimum requirement to be considered, and you must be eligible for an upgrade. Candidates with a current and active Top Secret/SCI are highly preferred.
- Certifications: You must be able to obtain the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within 24 months of appointment.
- Experience: Progressive, hands-on experience in one or more of the core security disciplines (e.g., industrial, information, physical, personnel, operational security).
- Travel: Occasional travel to other locations (such as Hanscom AFB, MA) may be required (approx. 2-4 times per year).
- Lead Program Protection: Drive the integration of all security disciplines to protect critical program information (CPI) and mission-critical technology throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
- Manage Industrial Security: Develop and review Contract Security Specifications (DD Form 254) and provide rigorous security oversight for defense contractors to ensure compliance.
- Serve as a Multi-Disciplinary Security Expert: Provide hands-on guidance for day-to-day facets of information security (INFOSEC), physical security (PHYSEC)/Anti-terrorism-Force Protection (AT-FP), personnel security/insider threat (PERSEC/InT) and operations security (OPSEC).
- Liaise & Communicate Effectively: Serve as the primary on-site security point of contact, building effective relationships with local Maxwell-Gunter leadership, the broader program team at Hanscom AFB, and other key stakeholders to ensure mission success.
