The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time AcqDemo Personnel Management Specialist, (NH-0201-04) to work at SAF/AQH located at the Pentagon in Washington DC.
PCS/Relocation/Recruitment/Retention incentives may be authorized.
SALARY RANGE: $107,446 - $143,236 (without locality)
“If your current basic salary is within the band, but above the stated VOP, your basic salary will not be reduced if you are selected for the position.”
Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period. Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.

Qualifications
The primary purpose of this position is to support the DAF AcqDemo Program Office with transformation of civilian personnel management policies and procedures to better support the acquisition mission. As an expert on the AcqDemo team, the incumbent is responsible to develop and implement all aspects of the DAF-wide AcqDemo policy including, but not limited to retaining, recognizing, and rewarding employees for their contributions.

- US citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
- Education Requirements: For further information regarding the 201 series:
- Confident briefer for large audiences and Senior Leaders.
- Expert knowledge of the policies, principles, concepts, guidance, procedures, techniques, and methodologies pertaining to civilian personnel programs.
- Expert human resources knowledge to develop and write DAF-wide policy on the AcqDemo personnel program.
- Expert knowledge of the AcqDemo and/or other Alternative Personnel Systems.
- Significant Travel / TDY Required (On-site audits, briefings, training, and pay pools facilitation)
- Must have qualifying experience at the next lower grade level (GS-13)/pay band, or equivalent in other pay systems.
