Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Lead Technician based in Chicago, IL. As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of air ducts, HVAC systems, furnaces, and dryer vents. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure projects are completed on time and meet high-quality standards, and communicate effectively with clients to address their needs. Additional responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in HVAC systems, air duct maintenance, furnace servicing, and dryer vent cleaning
- Leadership and team management experience with the ability to supervise and train technical staff
- Problem-solving abilities, with expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues
- Strong communication and customer service skills for effective client interaction
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in HVAC and air quality services
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Chicago
- Relevant certifications or training in HVAC or related fields is a plus
