• **Responsibilities:**
• - **Cleaning**: Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, filters, fans, and ducts. This involves:
• - Removing grease buildup from all surfaces.
• - Cleaning or replacing filters as needed.
• - Degreasing and scrubbing exhaust fans and hood interiors.
• - Using specialized tools and cleaning solutions to ensure thorough cleaning.
• - **Inspection**: Before and after cleaning, inspect systems to identify any maintenance or repair needs, reporting these to the supervisor.
• - **Safety Compliance**:
• - Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure personal and workplace safety.
• - Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and eye protection.
• - **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, performed tasks, and any issues encountered during service.
• - **Customer Interaction**: Communicate effectively with restaurant owners or managers regarding the cleaning process, outcomes, and any recommendations for system maintenance or upgrades.
• - **Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure all cleaning tools and equipment are in good working order, reporting any malfunctions or needs for replacement.

• - Preferably with prior experience in industrial cleaning, particularly in kitchen exhaust systems, but willing to train motivated individuals.
• - **Physical Ability**:
• - Must be able to stand or climb for extended periods.

• - High level of meticulousness to ensure all parts of the exhaust system are cleaned to prevent fire hazards and maintain efficiency.
• - **Work Ethic**:
• - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• - **Certifications**:
• - Certifications in safety or cleaning practices are a plus but not mandatory.
• - **Flexibility**:
• We travel across the country driving or flying so you must be able to be gone for 1-2 weeks at a time. Daily per diem provided when out of state.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
