What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer/Drafter position at Air Dynamics Industrial Systems Corporation?
The Drafter/ Engineering Administrator will be an integral part of our small manufacturing business. This candidate’s primary responsibility is editing 3D models and transferring the models into fabrication drawings. In addition, there will be the opportunity to support some general administrative duties and other tasks that may align with the individual’s skillset and availability. This is a full-time position for ON-SITE work.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in CAD Design Technology and manufacturing experience with a minimum of (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably sheet metal.
- 3D Inventor, Vault, and Excel experience is required.
- BOM and Nest Creation is necessary.
- Ability to create a fully annotated drawing for assemblies, sub-assemblies, parts with minimum guidance or mark-ups.
- Knowledge of weld symbols and GD&T.
- Knowledge of the Manufacturing Processes.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Great attention to Detail.
- Team player willing to do other tasks as required. Including but not limited to, planning, purchasing, and occasionally assembly.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft programs like Outlook.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate complex math skills
- Typically sits for sustained periods of time at a desk and/or computer
- Typically requires close visual acuity involved with preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer screen and extensive reading
- Occasional bending, crouching, stooping, twisting, reaching and grasping
- Some lifting, up to 25 pounds
- Manual dexterity and repetitive movement of fingers and hands for keyboarding
- Attend work regularly and on time, and complete assigned tasks
- Able to receive and deliver detailed information through written and oral communications
- Able to function at a high level in a fast-paced work environment

Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
