Product Manager - Data Center Segment (Ruskin Business Unit)
Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. (ADTI) is seeking a Product Manager - Data Center Segment to lead our efforts in driving specification adoption and building strategic relationships within the mission-critical environment market. Unlike traditional product management roles, this position does not manage a physical product or widget. Instead, the focus is on selling specifications, influencing design decisions, and establishing ADTI as the preferred vendor for airflow management and cooling solutions in data centers.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute strategies to increase ADTI’s presence in data center specifications and design standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including engineers, consultants, and data center operators.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and technical content to influence spec adoption.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop campaigns targeting mission-critical environments.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for data center airflow and cooling solutions.
- Represent ADTI at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote thought leadership.
How You Will Do It
- Partner with engineering and application teams to ensure ADTI solutions meet evolving data center requirements.
- Develop pricing and positioning strategies aligned with market expectations.
- Scope and prioritize initiatives based on business impact and customer needs.
- Drive awareness and adoption of ADTI specifications through proactive engagement with design professionals.
- Monitor industry standards (ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, etc.) and ensure ADTI solutions align with best practices.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC, airflow management, or mission-critical environments.
- Proven ability to influence specifications and build relationships with design professionals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with market research and strategic planning.
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
- Established network within the data center design and engineering community.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and data center cooling best practices.
