What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer position at Air Cool Industrial?
Aircool Industrial is a leading manufacturer of residential and light commercial Ceiling Fans for Retailers and OEMs in North America.
The Engineer roll in our US office headquarters will entail the following:
*assist with product development
*help to approve design CAD drawings
*invent and suggest new mechanical features and designs
*proof and edit instruction manuals
*work with retailers to improve return rates
*analyze data from defectives and returns
*implement new procedures and designs to improve quality
*first sample review
*test and thoroughly review smart home devices
*monitor and use consumer reviews from online to improve quality and customer satisfaction
*international travel to Asia may periodically be required
*bilingual English/Mandarin a plus but not required
*some local travel around metro Atlanta is required
*weekly conference calls with retailers and within our organization
*due to international time zone variance some morning and evening work is required
*proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office Suite required
*electrical, lighting, fashion and retail experience is a plus
