Air Conditioning Specialist (ACS) – Milledgeville, GA

Air Conditioning Specialist (ACS) is looking for a dependable Sheet Metal Installer/Fabricator to join our Commercial HVAC Department in Milledgeville, GA.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has experience with sheet metal, ductwork, construction, or commercial HVAC. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, shows up ready to work, and works well as part of a commercial installation team.
Responsibilities
* Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal and HVAC ductwork
* Install commercial duct systems, fittings, transitions, and related components
* Measure, cut, bend, and form sheet metal to job specifications
* Assist with layout and installation of ductwork on commercial projects
* Read and follow measurements, plans, and job specifications
* Properly use hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment
* Seal and secure ductwork according to company and industry standards
* Work safely on ladders, lifts, rooftops, and active construction sites
* Maintain an organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment
* Work with commercial HVAC installers, supervisors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule
Qualifications
* Previous **sheet metal, ductwork, HVAC, or commercial construction experience preferred**
* Ability to accurately use a tape measure and perform basic construction math
* Experience with sheet metal fabrication and installation is a plus
* Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools
* Comfortable working at heights and in varying indoor/outdoor conditions
* Ability to lift and carry materials associated with commercial HVAC installation
* Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Compensation
$16.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
