Job Position Summary:
This position within ACE Group plays a key role through the design, development, test, and implementation of modeling and simulation visualization and analytic solutions. They will work closely with government and industry M&S engineers, developers and analysts to provide relevant visualization solutions that support warfighting capability assessments and engineering requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Use of simulation data visualization methods and analysis tools
- Instrumentation of M&S systems
- Operation of specific proprietary simulation tool-sets
- Analysis of simulation results
- Technical report writing
- Research of relevant combat system capabilities, characteristics and operational use
- Preparation and delivery of customer briefings
- Support of customer and company engineering, management, and administrative processes
- Participation in various Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics or other technical field
- Ability to obtain and keep a SECRET clearance is required.
- US citizenship
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience developing M&S solutions at the code implementation level (may include applied academic work on project team or capstone)
- Researching skills/troubleshooting expertise
- 1-3 years of hands-on data analytics experience (may include applied academic work on project team or capstone)
- Up to 25% travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent programming skills with some of the following: MATLAB® , C , python/anaconda
- Rapidly understands new concepts, and applies them accurately and creatively
- Ability to create compelling, coherent briefing products; excellent technical writing skills Inquisitive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Works comfortably in evolving and complex environments
- Ability to connect the modeling and simulation field to real world applications
- Experience with analyzing larger sets of simulation data
- Capable of translating simulation data results to various audiences
