• All applicant's must have at least 3 years driving experience. DRIVER'S LICENCE IS REQUIRED.
• Have a clean driving record of the past 2 years.
• Capability to lift and load many pieces of luggage weighing 50 lbs. or more per bag.

What are some daily duties of an Ticket Agent?

You will check in passengers at the ticket counter with a friendly disposition. You will check in passengers at the ticket counter with a friendly disposition. You will properly tag luggage and lift (up to 70 pounds and/or more regularly) onto belt. You will make sure all boarding procedures are carried out properly at the gate. You will be using our Company's computer information system, writing emails, and completing forms and paperwork connected with our flights. You will assist in cleaning the aircraft in a fast paced manner between flights, this includes collecting trash and vacuuming in a hot aircraft. You will learn to operate the controls of the jet bridge according to GPT training.

What are the Physical Requirements of a Ticket Agent?

Must be able to lift and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40-50 pounds on a raised surfaces. Must be able to bend and pick items off the floor, vacuum with a hand held vacuum with a hand held vacuum, lift heavy garbage bags out of tall trash cans.

What are the minimum requirements to be a Ticket Agent at Air Chef Aviation Support Services?

High School diploma, GED or equivalent;- Must be at least 18 years of age;- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986;- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license with a good driving record. To work at the airport, you must be able to obtain a Secured Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge which required passing a background check. You will be required to meet all local airport requirements. For the security access, job seekers must have no conviction, guilty plea, or judgment not guilty by reason of insanity in the last 10 years for any of the following disqualifying criminal offenses, as determined by the federal Transportation Security Administration.

What else do I need to know about being a Ticket Agent for Air Chef Aviation Support Services?

You will need to be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime and split shifts are required for this position. Ability to read and write English and use basic computer skills.
