Job Summary
We are hiring Event Ride Attendants & Event Support Staff to help operate amusement rides and attractions at community events, festivals, and private functions. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, ensuring rides run safely, efficiently, and with a positive guest experience.
This position is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with families, and being part of a fast-paced event environment. No prior ride experience is required — training is provided.
Duties
- Operate amusement rides and inflatable attractions according to safety guidelines
- Assist guests on and off rides, ensuring all safety rules are followed
- Monitor ride areas at all times to maintain safe and orderly operation
- Explain ride rules clearly to children and parents
- Manage ride lines and maintain smooth guest flow
- Perform basic safety checks before and during ride operation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of ride areas
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any ride issues or concerns
- Assist with setup and teardown of rides and event equipment as needed
Experience & Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to safety
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Friendly, patient, and able to interact with children and families
- Willing to work weekends, evenings, and event days
- No experience required — paid training provided
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
