What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Staff Accountant position at Air Capital Tax & Accounting?
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Accounting
- 3-5 years’ tax experience
- Tax filing and preparation 1040’s, 1041’s, 1065’s, 1120’s, 1120’s, 709’s, 990’s
- Payroll filings 941’s, 943’s, 940’s, W2’s, and 1099’s
- Financial Accounting
- Ability to produce financial statements, year-end reports, and other necessary information to produce tax returns.
- Knowledgeable with Sage, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Accountants World.
- Strong understanding of tax codes, laws, and regulations.
- Experience in financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and GAAP compliance
- Attention to detail, high accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Interview clients to obtain necessary information on taxable income, deductible expenses, and allowances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with farms, and small businesses.
- Working knowledge of CCH Axcess
- Active CPA or EA credentials
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
