About Air Butler Collective
Air Butler Collective is a luxury private aviation concierge and charter brokerage headquartered in the greater Philadelphia area. We curate seamless, white-glove aviation experiences for high-net-worth individuals, corporate executives, sports professionals, and entertainment figures. Every touchpoint — from wheels-up to final destination — reflects our commitment to discretion, precision, and unmatched service.
Role Overview
The Inflight Butler is the face of Air Butler Collective at 40,000 feet. As the primary onboard service professional, you will manage every aspect of the in-cabin experience, ensuring our clients feel attended to, comfortable, and in complete control of their journey. This is not a standard flight attendant role — it is a hospitality position that demands intuition, taste, and an obsessive attention to detail.
You will work closely with our Pre-Flight Experience Coordinators to receive tailored client briefings, execute custom catering and service setups, and uphold the elevated standards our clientele expects every time.
Key Responsibilities
Execute full inflight service from pre-boarding setup through post-flight cabin reset
Review and implement client preference profiles provided by the Pre-Flight Experience Coordinator
Manage custom catering presentations including plating, temperature control, and timing
Provide beverage service including curated wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic offerings
Maintain cabin environment — lighting, temperature, music, ambiance — per client preference
Anticipate client needs proactively without being intrusive or disruptive
Assist with special setups including in-flight celebrations, business setups, and custom requests
Coordinate with flight crew on timing, turbulence protocols, and safety compliance
Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and FAA guidelines during service
Complete post-flight service reports and flag any client feedback to the Coordinator team
Handle sensitive client information with absolute discretion and professionalism
Travel on short notice domestically and internationally as required by booking schedule
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in private aviation, yacht stewardship, luxury hotel, or fine dining service
FAA-compliant safety training or willingness to obtain prior to first flight assignment
Polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Strong knowledge of food service, wine, and spirits at a luxury level
Excellent interpersonal communication — warm, confident, and appropriately reserved
Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt quickly to changing client needs
Valid U.S. passport (international travel required)
Reliable transportation to applicable departure airports in assigned region
Background check clearance required
Fluency in English required; additional languages a strong plus
What We Offer
Competitive per-flight and per-diem compensation
Access to a growing luxury aviation brand with long-term engagement potential
A culture that respects your expertise and elevates your craft
Exposure to high-profile clientele and exclusive travel
Ongoing training in Air Butler service standards and hospitality protocols
Flexible scheduling with advance notice provided whenever possible
