Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fence Installer Foreman to lead our installation teams in delivering high-quality fencing projects across various construction sites. As a key leader on-site, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate with project managers, and ensure that all fencing installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in construction management, team supervision, and technical skills will drive project success and client satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership abilities while working on diverse projects that enhance community infrastructure. We also have pay for performance on top on your base pay.This is equivalent to a bonus.
Duties
- Lead and supervise fence installation crews, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and schematics
- Coordinate daily activities with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute fencing layouts and designs
- Manage on-site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct safety meetings and inspections regularly
- Oversee the use of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools for scheduling and documentation
- Monitor project progress using project scheduling techniques; adjust plans as needed to stay on track
- Ensure quality control through regular site inspections; address any issues related to materials or workmanship promptly
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours; prepare reports for project stakeholders
- Supervise the handling of tools and equipment including ohmmeters for electrical testing when required; ensure proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed
Skills
- Proven management experience in construction site supervision with a focus on fencing or similar infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, budgeting, and contracts management
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P6 or HeavyBid for project planning and documentation
- Ability to read technical schematics and use testing tools like ohmmeters effectively on electrical components within fencing systems
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, and stakeholders effectively
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards; experience conducting safety training sessions on-site
- Skilled in supervising multiple crews while maintaining high standards of quality and safety standards
- Experience with pipeline installation or related infrastructure projects is a plus
