AIR AMERICA AVIATION SERVICES is seeking an A&P Mechanic or apprentice to perform high-quality aircraft maintenance in support of safe, reliable operations.
Position Summary
As an A&P Mechanic, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft and related components to ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements. You will work as part of a hands-on maintenance team to deliver dependable service while meeting established maintenance standards and timelines.
This full-time onsite role in Millbury, OH is ideal for a detail-oriented mechanic who takes pride in safe work practices, accurate documentation, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft and aircraft components according to approved procedures and schedules
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate corrective actions to restore aircraft to serviceable condition
- Complete maintenance tasks in compliance with applicable regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Support the maintenance workflow by preparing parts/materials as needed and coordinating with team members to maintain efficient turnaround
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections completed, and repairs made in accordance with required documentation practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic certification
- Proven experience performing aircraft maintenance, repairs, and inspections in accordance with established procedures
- Working knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and safe handling procedures
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance documentation and follow procedural requirements closely
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work safely in a hands-on environment, and a commitment to quality
- Experience with scheduled maintenance and/or troubleshooting across multiple aircraft systems
- Familiarity with interpreting technical manuals and maintenance instructions to support accurate work execution
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining productivity and compliance
- Experience maintaining clear, timely, and accurate maintenance documentation
