Duties
- Design and implement customized strength training and conditioning programs tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and fitness levels.
- Evaluate and identify clients movement imbalance, correct and improve technique.
- Educate clients on body mechanics, physiology, and anatomy to ensure safe and effective workouts.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, monitor progress, and adjust programs as necessary to optimize results.
- Provide exceptional personal training sessions that motivate clients, track progress, and foster long-term relationships.
- Promote the benefits of fitness memberships and personal training services to enhance client engagement and retention.
- Maintain a clean, organized gym environment while adhering to safety protocols and health regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in personal training or strength coaching within a health club or gym setting.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for designing effective programs.
- Demonstrated ability to teach physical education or lead group fitness classes with enthusiasm and clarity.
- Familiarity with program design tailored to individual needs as well as sports coaching experience is a plus.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to promote fitness services confidently while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Certification in personal training or strength coaching from an accredited organization is highly preferred. (NSCA, ISSA, NASM)
