This individual will manage full lifecycle searches from intake meetings through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff. The successful candidate will bring strong judgment, a consultative approach to partnering with leaders, excellent project-management skills, and a commitment to delivering equitable, efficient, and high-quality experience for candidates and hiring teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiting professional who is passionate about AIPAC’s mission and interested in helping build the teams that advance a strong U.S.–Israel relationship.

Key Responsibilities

FULL LIFECYCLE RECRUITING

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions across multiple functions, levels, and geographies.
  • Create a positive, responsive, and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate and complete candidate records, interview feedback, recruiter notes, source data, and disposition reasons in the ATS.

HIRING MANAGER PARTNERSHIP

  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders, providing market intelligence, recruiting data, candidate insights, and guidance on effective hiring practices.
  • Establish clear expectations with hiring teams regarding interview participation, feedback deadlines, decision-making, candidate communication, and confidentiality.

SOURCING

  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies for active and anticipated hiring needs using a mix of online sourcing, employee referrals, professional networks, industry associations, alumni networks, online platforms, and other relevant channels.
  • Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines for frequently hired, hard-to-fill, and strategic roles.
  • Identify and engage passive candidates through personalized outreach that effectively communicates AIPAC’s mission, culture, impact, and career opportunities.

INTERVIEW PROCESS AND CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE

  • Manage structured interview processes that are efficient, consistent, and aligned with the role’s required competencies.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, including scheduling, calendar management, interview confirmations, video-conference links, candidate travel where applicable, interviewer briefings, and follow-up communication.

Qualifications

  • Five years of full-cycle recruiting, executive recruiting, or agency recruiting.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to define hiring needs, build recruitment strategies, and make sound selection decisions.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent requisitions while maintaining a high level of organization, responsiveness, candidate care, and attention to detail.
  • Strong sourcing skills and demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and assess both active and passive candidates.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of structured interviewing, candidate assessment, interview scorecards, and job-related selection practices.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to diagnose issues and influence recruiting strategy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Experience recruiting within a mission-driven, nonprofit, advocacy, political, government, policy, membership, or public-affairs organization preferred.
