A respected, full-service law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel-level Attorney to join its Commercial Real Estate practice in Boston, New York, or Connecticut . This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on complex real estate transactions across leasing, franchise, and corporate matters with a nationally regarded team.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience representing companies, developers, franchisees, and investors in sophisticated real estate matters. The role focuses heavily on commercial leasing and also includes work related to franchise/distribution and general corporate real estate transactions .
Key areas of focus include:
Drafting and negotiating commercial leases (retail, office, and industrial)
Acquisition, disposition, development, and financing of commercial properties
Reviewing and negotiating franchise agreements, renewals, and transfers
Asset purchases and related general corporate tasks

What They’re Looking For:
JD from an accredited law school
5–10 years of relevant commercial real estate experience
Strong leasing experience is required
Franchise and corporate real estate background strongly preferred
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage matters with minimal supervision
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction (MA, NY, or CT)
Compensation:
Hybrid
Base salary range (New York): $185,000 – $220,000
Final compensation will depend on experience and other relevant qualifications
