Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Supply Chain Manager with seasoned tenure in S&OP, Materials Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics Management for a Global Aerospace Manufacturer located in the Montgomery County. This leader will report directly to the Head of Operations and lead a team of production planner, logistics, purchasing to streamline the SIOP process among external warehouses, 3PL, Materials and Production. This is a Full-time, permanent opportunity with lucrative base salary, bonus and competitive benefit! In addition, company would like to develop this individual to become the NA Supply Chain Director.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Operations and lead a Supply Chain Team (Logistics, Purchasing, Production Scheduler and Inventory) to streamline material flows based on demand forecast.
- Develop and implement a SIOP process to improve accuracy on demand forecast, inventory planning and production scheduling and logistics.
- Develop and improve Inventory KPI on raw and finished goods, optimize safety stock strategy to avoid shortage.
- Manage oversea and domestic vendors, analyze vendor KPI on backorder ratio, delivery time, quality, etc.; conduct root cause with vendor to improve vendor performance and further achieve on-time deliveries.
- Drive continuous improvement in material cost, quality, supplier performance, lead-time across logistics, inventory, and vendors.
- Collaborate with 3PL on import, export and domestic shipments (railcar, LTL, Trucking), identify cost effective routes and source for new logistical methods as needed.
- Support vendor sourcing, negotiations and contract renewal; support new product development, analyze warehouse space to identify best stocking strategy for new products.
- Manage external warehouses and continuously source, qualify and onboard new external warehouses to further achieve highest customer service and shorten lead time on order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field.
- Recent years of recent work experience as Planning Manager, Supply Chain Manager, S&OP Manager or related field, experience with Specialty Chemicals, Specialty Materials or Food Industry strongly desired.
- Solid knowledge in ERP/MRP systems.
- Hands-on leadership skills, ability to motivate team.
- Experience in managing oversea and domestics vendors, multiple plants, external warehouses, terminals, railcar, trucking.
