The Position
At AINORIA, we consider scientific theory and real-world implication be two ends of a continuum. As a tech company, researchers are responsible for building models, strategies, and systems that quantify and help us to better understand individuals. You are free to explore different tactic of how to valuate one’s potential, and observe how your work can help others to change their life. As a mix of the researcher and software engineering roles, this work involves many things: analyzing large data, building and testing models, creating new investing strategies, and writing the code that implements them.
About You
- Be able to apply logical and mathematical thinking to all kinds of problems. Asking great questions is more important than knowing all the answers
- Have good taste in research. The problems we work on rarely have clean, definitive answers. You should be comfortable pushing in new and unknown directions while maintaining clarity of purpose
- Think and communicate precisely and openly. We believe great solutions come from the interaction between diverse opinions
- We prefer PhDs and PhD students since they have higher EVs. However, this is not a requirement. We care more about how you solve problems
- Write great code

$100,000 ~ $200,000 per year depending on your background.
