As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Your expertise in mixology and customer service will play a crucial role in enhancing our establishment's reputation.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Participate in special events or banquets as required, showcasing bartending skills in various settings.
- Side work as assigned to ensure cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred; familiarity with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer engagement.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management; retail math experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess valid food handling certification or be willing to obtain one upon hiring.
