Job Description Residential Services, Non-Direct Care Service
Title: Sr. Regional Program Director
Responsible to: Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Executive Officer
General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sr. Regional Program Director has a high level of senior management experience. Is accustomed to providing leadership and direction to the team. Is responsible for the operational success of AIMED Human Services programs. Ensuring seamless team management and development. Delivering high quality programs and controlling and evaluating programs effectively. The Regional Program Director provides guidance, support, and mentorship. They create a work environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and professional growth. The idea person is seasoned and capable of managing with little close supervision.

Strategic Leadership:
Having the ability to look at the changes in the market. Implementing a cohesive short-term long-term vision and empowering the team to turn the vision into reality.- Carrying out strategic planning for program(s) expansion and growth.
Operational oversight:
Managing the York site and making sure all initiatives are met regulatory, budgetary, and all clinical compliance.- Work closely with the recruiter for open vacancies.
- Health and safety of the participants and the quality of care while meeting the regulations standards.
- Overseeing the Program ISP meetings.
Team Management:
Mentoring the York Team, conducting performance evaluations, corrective action plans, and fostering a high-performance culture according to AIMED’s core values.- Utilize performance measures to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all employees.
- Strong leadership, open and positive/professional effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
Team building:
- Being able to successfully break down information to accelerate collaborative processes and align cross-functional groups within the agency.
- Team building with direct care, admin staff, and promoting positive and harmonious interaction.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Being the primary liaison (York area) between the executive leadership, local partners, and the community.
Anticipation:
Being able to look at the industry trends in the Residential Program field for potential disruptions, and emerging opportunities than just reacting to immediate crisis.

Being able to assess different situations without it being said as status quo. Must be able to invite healthy productive debate to prevent organizational blind spots.

Communicating with the different departments to mitigate conflicts to make sure that all teams are working towards the objectives of the agency. Collaborating with the Chief Program Office and Clinical Manger on new admissions and discharges.
Training/ Learning:
Being able to continue to learn the AIMED’s processes and procedures and applying the policies and procedure with positive and reinforcement feedback.- Making sure the staff is adhering to all mandated training, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge/Skills:
Understanding/knowledge of the Office of Developmental Programs (3800, 6400/6100) regulations.- Understanding/ knowledge of incident management and investigative reporting.
- Understanding/knowledge or become proficient in all systems: HCSIS, Therap and Incident Management, Bamboo and ADP.
- Understanding/knowledge or become proficient in PROMISe.
- Understanding/knowledge of the state licensing regulations and providing oversite during the annual licensing.
Compliance:
- Making sure that all sites are complying according to the state regulations, 3800, 6100 & 6400.
- Making sure the staff is fully trained and understand the state regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
The Senior Regional Program Director must have a master’s degree and two years in Human Services or bachelor’s degree and three years’ relevant Senior Level experience.
