SG2 Recruiting is partnering with AIMC to seek a Personnel Manager to support the Space Systems Command (SSC), MilComm & PNT (SSC/CG) Directorate, providing a broad range of acquisition and personnel management support.
The SSC/CG Directorate is responsible for the planning, acquisition, and sustainment of space-enabled Military Communications and Positioning, Navigation & Timing (MilComm & PNT) capabilities for National and Joint Force Operations.
The Personnel Manager will provide the government with actionable information, analysis, and strategic recommendations to improve organizational performance, streamline personnel processes, and ensure effective management of people, resources, and infrastructure within the Directorate. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a high-performing team that supports SSC/CG’s space mission objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
- Providing leadership and direction to contractor teams in areas including human resources, personnel management, infrastructure, and information management.
- Overseeing Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) management, including asset tracking, procurement, maintenance, and replacement.
- Managing infrastructure coordination with Aerospace facilities to ensure organizational space requirements are met and Facility Board meetings are effectively executed.
- Leading the organization’s training and professional development program, including planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating all aspects of employee growth and learning.
- Monitoring and tracking all deployment activities for both personnel and equipment to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Overseeing performance management processes, including tracking performance reports, feedback forms, promotion documentation, stratifications, and force shaping forms.
- Providing guidance, oversight, and recommendations for manpower, personnel, and information management programs to enhance efficiency and support mission objectives.
- Supporting the SSC/CG Directorate’s acquisition and lifecycle management goals by optimizing personnel utilization and aligning resources to organizational priorities.
What You Will Need (Requirements)
- Secret Security Clearance
- 10 years of demonstrated relevant experience in personnel, program, or organizational management.
- Understanding of MilComm & PNT satellite and ground systems.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in management, business, engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience managing aerospace or defense programs for DoD customers.
- Technical and analytic understanding of MilComm & PNT satellite and ground systems.
- Prior experience in human resources and personnel management within government or defense organizations.
