What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Analyst position at Aimbridge Hospitality?
As a Treasury Analyst, you’ll be at the center of all banking action—keeping a close eye on daily cash flows and expertly managing bank accounts to keep things running smoothly. In this role, you will oversee daily treasury activities, monitor multiple account balances, and ensure that all transactions are accurately reconciled and compliant with company policies.
Job Duties & Functions
Ensuring Compliance & Account Security
- Maintain signers for various accounts based on segregation of duties.
Mastering Daily Banking Operations
- Manage daily treasury/banking activity for all assets. Includes daily reconciliation of activity to maintain proper account balances within tracking system.
- Monitor daily bank account balances for all accounts and notify senior management of problems in advance.
- Perform daily wires, ACH transfers, and bank transfers from multiple accounts as needed.
Account & Merchant Management Excellence
- Establish and maintain multiple accounts across a broad spectrum of banks as needed for individual assets. Work directly with asset owners, senior management, and hotel management to obtain all necessary paperwork for new accounts or for changes.
- Establish and maintain multiple Credit Card Merchant Accounts for each asset. Work with background processors, banks, credit card companies, property management / point of sales systems to install or change merchant numbers as needed.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 1 year of related experience; background in multi-unit real estate or hospitality accounting is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and quick to learn new technologies.
- Experienced with online bank reporting tools, credit card processing through Point of Sales and Property Management Systems, and knowledgeable about wires, ACH, and BAI codes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines, prioritize tasks, pay attention to detail, and work independently with minimal supervision.
