As our Director of Rooms, you’re the mastermind behind smooth stays and unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll lead the charge across the Rooms Division—including Front Office, Concierge, Guest Recognition, PBX, Housekeeping, Valet Laundry, and Valet Parking—making sure every detail is dialed in. From maximizing revenue to keeping service standards sky-high, you’re the go-to for seamless operations and happy guests. Our hotel is conveniently attached to the Kentucky International Convention Center. We have brand new rooms featuring upscale amenities, city views, a sofa, and free WiFi. Hyatt Regency Louisville offers upscale fitness amenities and onsite gym activities for guest comfort and convenience. Accessible by guestroom key, our state-of-the-art hotel gym fitness center located in the lobby level allows each guest an opportunity to enhance their stay and keep active.

Key Skills/Responsibilities

- Talent Builder Extraordinaire: Hire, train, and develop a high-performing crew. You’re all about setting people up for success and keeping operations smooth, efficient, and aligned with company standards.

- Maestro of Order & Efficiency: Manage budgets, analyze performance, and keep everything—from staffing to systems—running like a well-oiled machine. With your tech savvy and sharp eye for detail, nothing slips through the cracks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Valid driver's license from the applicable state.
- Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action
- A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions
