The IT Operations Manager on our Technology Operations team will lead the design, implementation, and support of robust enterprise infrastructure solutions spanning on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. Your expertise will drive operational excellence and innovation within our organization.
This role is for you if you are an experienced IT Operations Manager who enjoys:
- Designing and implementing innovative enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
- Leading operational excellence initiatives and driving technical improvements within the organization
- Managing and troubleshooting a variety of IT services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure
- Configuring and securing network devices such as switches, firewalls, routers, and VPNs
- Developing automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python, Logic Apps, or Power Automate to enhance efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5–10 years of experience in systems or network engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure Administration, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Azure Certifications, Network Certifications from major vendors
- Strong scripting and automation experience.
- Solid understanding of network security and design principles.
- Demonstrates active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and works well as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Applies critical thinking to analyze situations, resolve challenges, and adapts quickly to changing environments and requirements.
- Maintains reliability, responsibility, a strong work ethic, and effectively prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines.
Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server (2012–2022), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and file/print services.
- Administer Exchange Online mailboxes, manage mail flow, security policies, and perform migrations.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, conduct disaster recovery planning, and document procedures, configurations, and system architectures.
- Ensure technical services adhere to corporate policies and standards, with proper synchronization between AD and Azure AD/Entra.
- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
- Configure and manage switches, firewalls, routers, VPNs, and implement segmentation and network security best practices.
- Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, Logic Apps, or Power Automate to streamline processes.
- Lead migration, upgrade, and optimization initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Experience with Fortinet SD-WAN (preferred).
- Hands-on with Fortinet firewalls (60F/80F/100F/400F/1800F), Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Check Point NG, or similar.
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, ACLs, and Layer 2/3 technologies.
