Our client in the Energy Brokerage sector is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to support their sales team by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. The SDR will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and supporting the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and readiness
- Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Research target accounts and key decision-makers
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve outreach strategies
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role
- Desire to help build a sales organization from the ground up
- Ability to handle rejection and stay persistent
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms is a plus
