Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure a positive experience. You will assist customers with inquiries, placing orders, and resolving issues. You will use the ERP system to quote customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong written communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Attention to detail and proficiency with computers are very important requirements.
Work Hours
Targeting 24-32 hours, Mon-Thurs. We may have flexibility in hours or days, including late start or early departure to support the schedule of a working family. Once established, we will expect those days/hours to remain consistent. All work is performed in-person, on-site. Threshold for the qualification of benefits, work hours must be 30 or more.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage customer orders from entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy and smooth processing.
- Collaborate with the production scheduling team to prioritize and align production with customer requirements.
- Actively participate in customer meetings and conference calls to address concerns, provide updates, and build strong relationships.
- Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and improve service delivery.
- Provide customers with quote updates as needs change.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers positively and identify different communication styles based upon the circumstances.
- Proven experience in customer service or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles.
- Excellent computer skills and comfort with technology.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
