Role Description
This part-time hybrid role as a Supported Living Mentor is based in Long Beach and surrounding cities and as far as the south bay. You will support individuals in achieving their personal goals, promoting independent living skills, and providing guidance in daily activities such as meal preparation, budgeting, and shoppong. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the development of individual support plans, documentation of progress, and fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to teach and support independent living skills related to maintaining a home, meal preparation, budgeting, and shopping, laundry, support in connecting to resources and social recreation.
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, or providing individualized support for personal development, this may include having a family member with similar challenges

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and documentation skills, including creating and maintaining accurate progress notes
.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with teams across multiple settings
- Preferred qualifications include experience in supported living services, a relevant educational background, and a valid driver’s license, current insurance and registration. The job may include traveling to 1-4 locations same day.
