Job Summary
An operations analyst in a hotel plays a key support role in running daily operations and helping the General Manager ensure everything runs smoothly. The job combines leadership, coordination, and problem-solving across departments.
Responsibilities
1. Supporting Daily Operations
Assist in overseeing all hotel departments (front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance)
- Step in to manage operations when the General Manager is unavailable
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the hotel
2. Staff Supervision & Coordination
- Help hire, train, and schedule employees
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
- Ensure employees follow hotel policies and standards
3. Guest Services & Satisfaction
- Handle guest complaints or special requests
- Ensure high levels of customer service
- Resolve issues quickly to maintain positive guest experiences
4. Administrative & Office Work
- Prepare reports (occupancy, revenue, performance)
- Maintain records and documentation
5. Financial Support
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
- Help manage inventory and supplies
6. Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure the hotel meets safety, cleanliness, and legal standards
- Conduct inspections of rooms and facilities
- Make sure brand standards are followed
8. Strategic Support
- Assist the GM in planning improvements or new initiatives
