Duties

• Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole techniques.
• Solder components accurately following IPC 610 standards to ensure reliable electrical connections.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to complete tasks correctly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to prepare parts and assemble components efficiently.
• Conduct electrical wiring and testing using ohmmeters and other testing devices to verify functionality.
• Inspect assembled products for quality compliance, ensuring adherence to IPC 610 standards and mechanical specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and quality checks for traceability.

Skills

• Strong understanding of PCB design, schematics, and electrical wiring principles.
• Experience with surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and IPC 610 standards.
• Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and the use of hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus for understanding automation components.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and test equipment like ohmmeters accurately.
• Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits, wiring connections, and component testing. Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
