Job Summary
We are hiring a FedEx Delivery Driver for Pickup & Delivery (P&D) routes. This role includes delivering and picking up packages from both residential and commercial customers.
It’s a fast-paced, active job where you’ll be on the road, managing your route and completing deliveries safely and on time. Route Miles - local route with 50 to 70 miles: Very dense and package delivery within 30 mile radius from Mansfield/Ontario
Responsibilities
- Drive a delivery vehicle (box truck / step van) on assigned routes
- Deliver and pick up packages from homes and businesses
- Organize packages for efficient delivery
- Handle packages safely (most 1–50 lbs; ~10–15% over 50 lbs)
- Use scanner to track deliveries and obtain signatures when required
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
- Follow all safety and driving rules
- Communicate with dispatch as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Ability to push, pull and move 150lbs
- Comfortable handling heavier packages when required
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 21 pass and background check drug screen and dot physical
Preferred
- Delivery experience
- Experience driving box trucks or vans
