- Encourage Instructional Excellence: Work with teachers to enhance curriculum, teaching strategies, and student engagement.
- Build Relationships: Strengthen connections with students, families, and staff to create a strong school community.
- Oversee School Operations: Assist in managing daily logistics, schedules, safety protocols, and event planning.
- Support Teacher Development: Provide coaching, feedback, and professional learning opportunities to help teachers grow.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree; minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching and administration; or equivalent combination of education/experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Certificates, License, Registrations:
Valid South Carolina Certificate in one of the following areas:
- Elementary Principal (Tier I, Tier II)
- Elementary Supervisor

Level 125 Pay Scale
The terms of employment detailed in this job description are based on full time employment during the school year. Conditions of employment adjusted for part time employees or individuals who are hired for less than an entire school year.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job evaluated annually according to Board Policy.
