What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Aiken/Barnwell Counties Community Action Agency?
FUNCTION:
Provide a variety of clerical and administrative duties, which include delivering high-level customer service and assisting low-income families through the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:
· Answer all incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff;
· Greet customers and provide support to individuals seeking assistance and/or arriving for their appointment.
· Provide administrative assistance to Executive Director and Senior Executive Administrator; and program assistance to Program Directors;
· Identify and respond to customer issues/problems, seeking guidance/assistance from other staff and/or the Program Directors, as needed; and
· Accept and distribute all packages to appropriate departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to demonstrate competency in oral and written communication, basic computer and mathematic skills, and record-keeping.
Must be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills with genuine concern for individuals with various socio-economic backgrounds.
A High School Diploma or equivalent with community service-related work experience is preferred.
A valid South Carolina Driver’s License is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
