As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling medically underwritten life insurance products. This is an inside sales role with no cold calling or prospecting; our prospective customers call us or request a life insurance quote from us online.

You’ll receive extensive training on products, sales concepts and our value proposition, and you’ll gain the required licensing and contracting to represent multiple insurance companies. With each customer you’ll conduct a suitability analysis over the phone to ensure they purchase products that meet their needs and eligibility requirements. You will work with customers across the United States.

About the role

  • Demonstrate success as a top performer with a strong work ethic to succeed
  • Clearly articulate a value proposition and negotiate terms to meet customer needs
  • Quickly develop a rapport with clients over the phone and strategically overcome objections
  • Deliver on monthly production goals; maintain/exceed established key metrics and standards of performance
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge to expertly explain insurance policy features and benefits
  • Inquire about medical history and accurately capture the customer’s response in order to generate an accurate quote
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and act with limited supervision
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations

What we are looking for

  • 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success and achieving goals
  • Experience with receiving inbound and/or making outbound calls, preferably in a call center environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to listen and explain ideas
  • Proficiency working in a Windows environment
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to obtain resident state Life and Health license (company-paid training and licensing)

  • Account Executives average total compensation of $85,000 per year with top performers earning over $150,000 per year

This is a remote position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the State of Colorado.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
