What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Intern position at AIdMD Technologies?
AIdMD Technologies is building healthcare software that helps medical practices run more efficiently. We’re looking for a motivated student to learn early-stage go-to-market and support our business development efforts under close mentorship from the founding team.
What you’ll learn
- How B2B healthcare sales works (ICP, buyer personas, qualification, messaging)
- How to research markets and build targeted lead lists
- How to support demos and follow-ups professionally
- How to track pipeline and report results
Responsibilities
- Research and map target customer segments
- Build and maintain lead lists with accurate contact details and notes
- Draft outreach messaging (email LinkedIn) and iterate based on feedback
- Shadow calls/demos and write structured summaries recommended next steps
- Prepare follow-up drafts, meeting agendas, and light enablement materials (one-pagers, FAQs)
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student (business, marketing, health policy, pre-med, etc.)
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Organized, consistent follow-through, and comfortable learning fast
- Interest in healthcare, technology, or startups is a plus
- Bonus: familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot/Apollo/Salesforce), Excel/Sheets, LinkedIn outreach
Time & structure
Strong performance during the internship may lead to an offer for a paid position (part-time or full-time), subject to mutual fit and company needs.
Part-time: ~10–15 hours/week
Remote: US-friendly time zones preferred
Duration: 8–12 weeks (flexible)
Mentorship: Weekly check-ins feedback on deliverables
Compensation: Unpaid internship
