RISE is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1980 as Aid To The Developmentally Disabled (ADD) by family members who were concerned about the physical and emotional decline of patients compelled to live in crowded institutions.

These family members believed that appropriate treatment and training in a warm, sheltered, homelike environment would enhance their physical and emotional growth. With the support, funding and licensing of New York State’s Office of People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the Office of Mental Health (OMH), ADD came to life.

We are currently Seeking an Assistant Residential manager for a community based residential program based in Hampton Bays.

Under the direct supervision of the Residential Manager, the Assistant Residential Manager will oversee and maintain successful operation of a (9- 10 bed) co-ed Community residence serving Individuals with severe mental illness. The Assistant Residential Manager is expected to carry out responsibilities with the utmost professionalism, be forward-thinking, and act as a positive role-model.

A H.S Diploma with at least FIVE (5) years’ experience working with the Mental Health population; At least one year experience working within a OMH funded residential setting- preferred; Graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in the field of human services preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.53 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
