What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Virtual Event Producer position at AICPA-CIMA?
About the Role:
You will manage the configuration of assigned virtual events including the agenda, platform features, and help design the virtual engagement. In addition to content organization and preparation of the virtual environment, you provide internal partners with technical support and customer service throughout each phase of event production. You will report to the Senior Manager - Virtual Events and use a hybrid work schedule.
You Will:
- Be the primary liaison and manager of the Event Management System (EMS) including providing guidance to users.
- Work with external EMS vendor and internal support partners to ensure execution of contract deliverables, troubleshooting and financial reconciliation.
- Use expertise in event technology, including knowledge of event apps, virtual platforms and registrations systems to guarantee a cohesive virtual event experience for participants and presenters.
- Provide support for speakers presenting through the virtual platform including supporting the development of training materials, conducting rehearsals and day of monitoring.
- Manage development and distribution of “virtual run of show” for assigned events to take a holistic approach in presenting a cohesive event experience.
- Collaborate with our teams to deliver relevant information required to produce hybrid and virtual events.
- Collaborate on the management of related expenses following event budget and expense forecasts.
- Review predictive models and registration reports to monitor revenue and contribution status. Collaborate with team members, department management and partners to support efforts to grow revenue and engagement.
- Communicate status of event expenses to Virtual Conference Producers and provide insights into cost savings and revenue opportunities
You Have:
- 4 years' professional experience in project management, marketing or event related area
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in virtual conference or event project management

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $75,000 - $85,000
