Role summary
We are looking for a creative, versatile and highly adaptable Public Relations Account Executive to support the Senior Manager, Public Relations.
This role combines hands-on media relations with tactical campaign delivery
The ideal candidate is a nimble multi-project operator who can translate strategy into executable plans, support brand positioning work, and ensure successful execution of projects.
This role is highly creative and versatile, designed for a professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt quickly to change, and work cross-functionally with property-level teams.
Key responsibilities
Media relations & outreach: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and trade press; draft and distribute press materials, pitch local and regional stories
Coordinate FAM trips, press events and influencer activations in partnership with property marketing teams.
Collaborate with the Influencer teams to ensure consistent brand storytelling across North America,
Prepare local coverage reports, track media mentions and ensure alignment with regional KPIs.
Monitor emerging media trends, newsletters, podcasts and new channels relevant to North America audiences.
Support crisis communications processes, preparing draft responses and liaising with Legal and Operations.
Act as a point of contact for external agencies, among other responsibilities.
Requirements
3-4 years’ experience in PR, communications or marketing, with proven work in hospitality, lifestyle or luxury brands preferred.
Strong relationships with travel and tourism media.
Excellent English and Spanish writing skills
Creative, adaptable and organized, able to manage multiple projects in parallel.
