Description: We are a small but growing team, in need of a Project Architect. We are looking for a licensed architect (or pursuing licensure) who communicates well, possesses strong technical expertise, and is motivated to lead projects and support team members in a collaborative environment. Our ideal candidate has experience with design for outpatient clinics or with multi-tenant, office and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely on a day-to-day basis with the project team to execute plans and develop project documents during all project phases.
- Participate in client meetings, effectively communicate design concepts and technical solutions.
- Oversee code analysis, quality assurance, and compliance with project requirements.
- Mentor and support project team members, promoting accuracy and efficiency in project documentation.
- Manage and clearly communicate project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal team members to achieve project goals.
- Well organized with effective time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to deliver projects independently or in a team setting.
- Degree from an accredited architecture program
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience
- Registered Architect in the State of Minnesota (or pursuing licensure)
- Proficiency in Revit. Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred but not required
- Experience with a variety of software platforms such as the Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu or other related programs
- Proven success in working with a team and balancing client needs
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with design for outpatient clinics or experience with multi-tenant, office and commercial clients is a plus
